La escala en Santo Domingo duró más de lo que esperábamos, dimos un paseo por la zona colonial, la casa del hijo de Colón, la última casa de Colón en La Española, la fortaleza, la Catedral, José Miguel me va contando las anécdotas de la historia. en el Panteón de la Patria coincidimos con la celebración del aniversario del 24 de abril.
Después de comer, desde el aeropuerto la Isabela, salimos dirección Puerto Príncipe.
